Aventador was actually the name of a famous, trophy winning fighte bull and the mean machine is true to its name with its brutal power. It is unsurpassable in design and technology according to some.

2012 Aventador LP 700-4 Engine
The Aventador is equipped with an extremely powerful engine, light and very compact at the same time. It has a F1-style pushrod suspension with inboard spring and damper units that reduce unsprung mass and a gearbox that is roboticized. It has a seven speed, automated Independent Shifting Rod transmission. The dual-plate clutch is much lighter in Aventador. With a 700 hp /515 KW and 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration figure of 2.9 seconds and an ability to reach a speed level of 350 km/h (217 mph ) the Aventador is a dream on wheels which offers unparalleled driving experience.
The Aventador has an all new twelve –cylinder with 6.5 liter engine and delivers 500 pound feet of torque. It has a highly tractable engine and exceptional brakes. It has a dry weight of 1,575 kilograms with a weight–to-power ratio of 2.25 kilograms per hp (4.96 Ib/hp). The controls in this car are uncomplicated and easily accessible.
By the simple touch of buttons we can alter the gear shift timings, Throttle-engine response, rear differential slip degree, and Servotronic steering force to suit the speed of the car. Resin Transfer Molding has been used for the production of the entire body and the monocoque. The roof and tub are individually made and then fixed together to form a rigid shell. The Aventador offers remarkable stiffness and safety. It has an incredibly low height of 1.136 mm (44.72 in) and an overall length of 4, 78 meters, supporting it with a width of 2, 26 meters (88.98 in), which includes the exterior mirrors.
The interior of the Aventador is amazing and spacious, using the best materials and fitted with the finest equipment and outstanding technology together with the smooth Italian craftsmanship. The dash board seems more like that of a plane than a car as the instruments are displayed on a TFT-LCD screen, another screen is provided for multimedia and navigation system.
