2013 Cadillac SRX Price & Review
Just like other car makers jostling for business in the overcrowded SUV bazaar, General Motors too has decided to give a facelift to its SRX and has come up with the 2013 Cadillac SRX.
Here are few interesting features of the soon-to-be-launched SRX that should hit US showrooms this fall.
2013 Cadillac SRX Features
The SRX is slotted in the luxury SUV segment and boasts of handsome looks with a host of creature comforts to spoil owners. The exteriors present that typical American macho feel with an over-sized front grill loaded with chrome and the Cadillac logo mounted at the center.

The headlamps seem to start out with a teardrop design in mind but confusingly end in a rectangular shape at the bottom. However, the entire front along with the well-chiseled front bumper does look quite masculine and refined at the same time.
The sides too, boast of a diagonal ridge that enhances the macho theme along with black under-guards throughout the SUV. The rear design prevents the SUV from looking clunky by sloping gently while the unique ridge at the center of the bumper and hatch along with vertical tail lamps additionally prevent this SUV from looking bland from behind.

Changes to the 2013 model include the new front grill and bumpers, 20 inch chrome alloys on the Performance and Premium versions, 18 inch aluminum alloys on the Base and Luxury versions, LED tail pipe, and new body colors. Overall, the 2013 Cadillac SRX looks quite different and eye-catching from the rest of the SUVs in the market.
Cadillac vehicles are known for providing owner-pampering lavishness and the 2013 Cadillac SRX does not lag behind in this department. The new SRX will welcome visitors and owners with an 8 inch LCD touch-screen system along with HD radio and multiple USB/Bluetooth/SD/aux-in features for connectivity with external devices.

The black/light grey theme on the dashboard, seats and door panels provides a super-luxurious feel to the interiors. The 2013 version will feature a new instrument cluster bathed in blue light while other lavish features such as ambient lighting, heated steering wheel and seats, and the UltraView power sunroof will further pamper proud owners.
Cameras and sensors fitted in the new Cadillac SRX will provide optimum safety measures for Cadillac drivers and passengers.
Engine and Transmission
The 2013 Cadillac SRX will be offered with a single engine and transmission option in the form of a mammoth 3600 cc, V6 direct-injection gasoline engine pumping out 308 HP along with 265 lb/ft of Torque.
Power will be transmitted through a 6-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission mated to either the front 2 or all 4 wheels depending on the chosen variant. Estimated fuel economy for the front wheel drive variant is 17/24 mpg in city/highway running and the all-wheel drive variant is 16/23 mpg under similar running conditions.
2013 Cadillac SRX Price
Even though GM has not announced prices of the 2013 Cadillac SRX, they are expected to fall between $35,000 and $50,000 depending on whether one opts for the Base, Luxury, Premium, or Performance version.
Cadillac has always offered luxurious cars and SUVs that certainly look impressive while moving or simply standing in their owners’ driveways. The 2013 Cadillac SRX is no exception and offers the right mix of masculinity, sophistication, and opulence at a reasonable price.
