Aston Martin Arrives In India With One-77, Rapide, DBS, DB9 And Vantage

India is fast emerging as a favorable destination for international luxury cars. The latest automobile maker to join the fray is none other than the British super car manufacturer Aston Martin. Recently, Aston Martin has unveiled its models for the Indian automobile market. Infiniti Cars has the exclusive right to import the Aston Martin beauties to India.

The Aston Martin models that will soon adorn the garages of the uber rich automobile enthusiasts of the country include the Aston Martin limited edition hyper car One-77. The British carmaker considers Aston Martin Rapide as the perfect luxury vehicle for the Indian customers. The super car manufacturer has also launched its other popular models including Aston Martin DBS, Aston Martin DB9 and Aston Martin Vantage.

Aston Martin One-77

Aston Martin One-77 is not just a car; it is a work of art. The exterior body panels of the sports coupe are crafted out of aluminum. The monocoque chassis created with carbon fiber accentuates the sophisticated styling of the two-door, two-seater vehicle. The luxury sports car weighs around 1500kg. The ‘naturally aspirated’ 7.3-liter V12 engine combined with the dry sump lubrication system could pump up to 750bhp of maximum power and maximum 750Nm of peak torque. The V12 engine present under the hood of Aston Martin One-77 is touted to be the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine model.

The transmission system of the vehicle comprises of six-speed automated manual transmission system. The gearbox offers select shift manual (SSM) or auto shift manual (ASM) electro-hydraulic control system. The stability of the sports coupe is ensured by the built-in Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes. The integrated traction control system and the dynamic stability control keep the car on track regardless of the driving condition. Aston Martin Rapide amalgamates opulence with powerful mechanics. The four-seater, four-door sports car comes with a stunning body made with aluminum and magnesium alloy. The stylish appearance of the vehicle is further enriched with single bi-xenon healdlamps and LED lamps integrated in the sides and rear. The spacious interior of Rapide is adorned with luxurious leather and walnut trim. The cabin is illuminated with ambient lighting and LED map lamps. To maintain an ambient environment in the cabin, Rapide is equipped with automatic temperature controls embedded in the front and rear of the car. The infotainment feature of Aston Martin Rapide comprises of 1000W Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio System, built-in Apple iPod connector, Bluetooth, HDD satellite navigation system, USB connector and 3.5mm audio input socket.

Aston Martin Rapide will be powered by 5935cc 48-valve V12 engine. Paired with Touchtronic 2 six-speed transmission system, the powertrain could deliver 470bhp of maximum output at 6000rpm and 600Nm of maximum torque at 5000rpm. Aston Martin has packed Rapide with the latest braking and safety features. The luxury car features dual disc brakes at the front and rear, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA), Electronic Park Brake (EPB), Traction Control (TC) and Positive Torque Control (PTC).

Aston Martin DBS

Aston Martin DBS is one of the best examples of classic Aston Martin models. The aerodynamic form flaunts a carbon fiber chassis and hand finished grille. The two-door two-seater coupe comes with an aluminum and magnesium alloy body. The luxurious interior features semi-aniline leather upholstery. The Alcantara interior boasts of a central console with Iridium Silver finish and carbon fiber door inserts. The entertainment system of the vehicle houses Bang & Olufsen Beasound audio system, USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth and HDD. Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Aston Martin V8 Vantage is noted for its exceptional performance. This handcrafted sports car is equipped with a 4735cc 32-valve V8 engine. The transmission system of the vehicle comprises of six-speed manual gearbox. Aston Martin V8 Vintage generates up to 420bhp of power and 470Nm of maximum torque. The luxury sports vehicle could run at a maximum speed of 290km per hour and it could attain 100km per hour speed in just 4.9 seconds.
