Performance and Drawbacks Of Mahindra Scorpio EX
From the very introduction of the model Mahindra Scorpio EX has been classed among the good performers. The powerful diesel engine with which this all new version of Scorpio is fitted with and the micro hybrid technology that Mahindra had incorporated in it has already proved in better mileage and performance.
Though the cost reduction has invariably resulted in some compromise with the performance, but still there is enough potential in the vehicle to take on the toughest of terrains. The higher suspension system also helps the Mahindra Scorpio EX with smooth gear shifting that also boosts the performance.
But like every other model of cars manufactured by every other motor manufacturers of the world. The Mahindra Scorpio EX has also its drawbacks. Though AC is available in this muscular vehicle there is no climate control facility available which is available in almost all the cars in the same price segment. Another drawback of the car is that the adjustment of the driver’s seat as well as the central locking system is manual, not electric and that is something that Mahindra could have easily improved.
There is another thing that worth a mention here and that is the lack of safety measures inside the car. There are no airbags, fog lamps, ABS and EBDs to ensure the safety of the passengers. Still with all these drawbacks, Mahindra Scorpio EX is the segment leader in this category of super utility vehicles and is now quite a few steps ahead of its nearest rival Tata Safari. It is expected by the business community that with the attractive price that Mahindra is offering, which is Rs. 7.21 lakhs the business is expected to grow in future.
