Tata Motor Launches Mini Van Tata Venture
Tata Motors has recently launched its first ever Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), christened Tata Venture. The new mini van has blended the smart features of a hatchback with the comfort of a utility vehicle.

The new multi-purpose vehicle from Tata Motors will be available in three trim levels. The variants could accommodate five, seven or eight people. The spacious van is less than 4m long. The top end model could comfortably accommodate eight passengers in three rows. It offers enough luggage space. For additional, baggage space, you can remove the rear seats.
Built on Tata Winger platform, the new mini van is endowed with the powerful 1.4liter Indica engine. Powered by the five-speed manual transmission, the 1405cc, turbo charged and inter-cooled diesel engine could generate 70Bhp of maximum output at 4500rpm and 135Nm of maximum torque at 2500rpm.
The powerful engine will help Tata Venture to attain 125km per hour maximum speed. The multi-purpose vehicle is noted for its fuel efficiency. It could provide up to 11.5km per liter mileage on city roads, and 15.42km per liter mileage on highways.
The brake system of the mini Van comprises of disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear. The strong shell of the vehicle could absorb shocks. The safety features of the vehicle meets the standard crash safety norms applicable on cars running on Indian roads. The side impact beams and the collapsible steering could minimize the adverse impact of a collision.

The 3.9m long, 1.5m wide and 1.8m high Tata Venture might give Maruti Omni a tough competition. The slider doors of the mini van closely resemble the doors of Omni and Tata Winger.
The interior of Tata Venture boasts of dual tone beige and black upholstery. It features a well-designed simple dashboard and easy to operate instrument panel and buttons. Dual Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) will maintain a comfortable temperature in the cabin. Tata Motors has added standard features such as power windows, rear wiper, power steering, keyless entry with engine immobilizer and reverse parking aid to the mini van.
Tata Venture Price
Tata Venture 5 Seater will cost Rs.4.05lakhs, the 7 Seater model will be available for Rs.4.57 lakhs and Tata Venture 8 Seater will carry Rs.5.07 lakhs price tag. The mini vans will come with a two-year or 75000km warranty.
